Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Carol S. Shapiro, who serves patients in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Recognized as a 2020 Top Doctor, Dr. Shapiro is a well-respected, board-certified plastic surgeon. Since November of 2010, she has been serving as the Director of the Sentara Wound Healing Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Shapiro earned her medical degree from the Woman’s Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1965. She then went on to complete her internship in general surgery at Philadelphia General Hospital in 1966, followed by her residencies in general and plastic surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in 1969 and 1972, respectively. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Mason University.
