Carol S. Shapiro, MD, MBA, FACS, FACPE, is a top plastic surgeon who lends his skills and expertise to serve patients as Director of the Sentara Wound Healing Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. Carol S. Shapiro, MD, MBA, FACS, FACPE, is a 1965-graduate of The Woman’s Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Her postgraduate training includes her internship served at Philadelphia General Hospital (1965-1966), as well as her general and plastic surgery residencies performed at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (1966-1969, 1969-1972). Dr. Shapiro completed an MBA degree at George Mason University. She attained board certification in plastic surgery with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives (FACPE).
